CEO Service Update - 20.07.2020

From today our delivery teams will deliver into your room of choice. You will be asked to remain socially distanced, 2 metres or more, whilst the delivery is in progress.

If you prefer, the delivery crew can still leave your delivery on the doorstep.

CEO Service Update - 24.03.2020

From today, we will no longer deliver into the home. Our crews will either deliver to the doorstep or to a nominated safe place. Any item requiring collection will need to be moved by the customer to the doorstep and disinfected if possible. Our crews will advise customers to remain at a 2-metre distance from the delivery crew at all times and deliveries will not require customer signatures - crews will just need verbal authority from customers of successful completion.

 CEO Update - 19.03.2020

Following the recent outbreak of the Coronavirus and this period of uncertainty we are working hard to ensure that we deliver as much business continuity as possible and are currently still operating our delivery services whilst still ensuring we follow all current UK Government, NHS and Public Health England (PHE) guidance.

At ArrowXL the health and safety of our customers and our delivery crews is our highest priority and we recognise that as our service is to deliver into the home, we need to make some changes to the way we normally operate.

Significant steps have been taken internally which include:

  • Colleague briefings about personal hygiene along with avoiding and identifying Covid-19
  • A heightened cleaning regime both with facilities and vehicles
  • Additional safety equipment provided to staff (gloves, cleaning equipment, etc)
  • Recognising the importance of self-isolation and working from home
  • Avoiding business travel and group meetings

It is important to also note the steps we have taken with our delivery methods:

  • Contactless delivery handover
  • Customers are being asked to pre-advise us of any self-isolation or Covid-19 symptoms
  • Customers will be asked to keep a sufficient distance from our delivery crews when we enter the premises
  • We are happy to deliver a doorstep service if that is the customer's preference - customers should make our delivery crews aware during the pre-call

PHE has advised that people receiving parcels are not at risk of contracting coronavirus. From experience with other coronaviruses, it is understood that these types of viruses do not survive long on objects such as parcels and packages.

Finally, as the coronavirus impact changes, we will update our policies and procedures to ensure we protect our colleagues and the customers we deliver to.

If you need to contact our service centre to discuss your delivery (for example to rebook) then please use one of the contact methods on your delivery tracking.

Thank you for your understanding.
